Monsanto has proposed acquiring Syngenta to create a new company focused on increased innovation and expanded global reach to support farmers around the world.  This topic of a neutral site for the combined company was raised in discussions with Syngenta. We initially proposed the United Kingdom for the domicile, in addition to our continued St. Louis headquarters – but this would be the subject of further negotiations. At this time, Syngenta has rejected the proposal. In any scenario, we remain committed to the U.S. and our hometown of St. Louis.
