Vance Kramer

Vance Kramer is Lead Molecular Bilogy, R&D Biologicals for Syngenta, where he has worked since 1984. His recent work has involved gene discovery for HPPD-based herbicides. Vance’s previous work included isolation of carbohydrate degrading genes and insecticidal genes for chewing insects. He has also served as a Syngenta tour ambassador. Prior to working for Syngenta, Vance was a research technician in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He received a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree from the university.
