Expert Bio

I joined the Toxicology team at Monsanto in 2009. I have spent the last 10+ years of my career focused on evaluating the safety of industrial chemicals, agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) and actively participate in toxicology based continuous education and training opportunities. I am passionate mentoring younger scientists and enjoy spending time with family and as an amateur photographer. I am an undergraduate of Virginia Union University, earned my doctorate from Meharry Medical College in Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacology and Toxicology) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. I am currently Senior Toxologist at Bayer.

A: If you are referring to the Monsanto chronic toxicity/carcinogenicity rodent studies, those studies were submitted to the U.S. EPA for evaluation and the agency summarized them in their publicly available glyphosate Re-registration Eligibility Decision (RED). These studies have also been reviewed and summaries made available by other regulatory agencies and scientific bodies around the world (European Food Safety Authority, Health Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency, World Health Organization / Food and Agriculture Organization).
