Jay Petrick, Ph.D., D.A.B.T.

Expert Bio

Dr. Jay Petrick is a toxicologist and the Macromoleculte Toxicology Lead at Bayer.  He has been with Bayer, formerly Monsanto, since 2005, after completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Petrick received his toxicology board certification from the American Board of Toxicology (DABT).  He earned his B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Arizona.  Dr. Petrick works in the areas of food safety and pesticide toxicology with an emphasis on food safety of biotechnology-derived crops and of RNA technologies. Jay has authored 16 peer reviewed publications.
