Question

Q: what is the 24D percentage solution for general usage? Im mixing liquid in a hand sprayer.

Answered By James Gray - Dec 04, 2015

A: 2,4-D products may be mixed and applied by a hand-sprayer. There are specific instructions on each product label attached to the container that provides use rate information. As a general example, one popular consumer product (Trimec from PBI Gordon Corp.) directs to mix at the rate of 1.5 ounces per gallon of water for use on 1000 square feet, or as a spot treatment. Always read and follow the label directions for each product.
