As Global Breeding Engagement and Outreach Lead, Erin Jones helps farmers, society and employees understand the complex science that leads to innovation. Having grown up on a farm in rural Ohio, her roots have inspired her to become an advocate for agriculture and the important role it plays in all of our lives. The most fulfilling part of her job is witnessing the “aha” moments – both at Bayer and at local school programs – when she educates groups about agriculture and biotechnology. In her spare time, she spends lots of time outside with her dog, Petey. She has an extraordinarily large family, and enjoys spending time with them on visits to Ohio.
