I spent the first part of my Monsanto/Bayer career investigating approaches to enhance stress tolerance in crop plants.  For the past 12 years, I have been a scientist in Monsanto’s Biotechnology Regulatory group, and have been engaged in characterizing biotechnology crop products to provide data that regulatory agencies use to assess the safety of those products.
