I am a Senior Technical Fellow in the Global Nutrition Innovation group at DuPont Nutrition & Health. My current research focuses on identifying the biochemical mechanisms of how food ingredients interact with our bodies to provide adequate nutrition and confer health benefits. I am a biochemist (Ph.D. McGill University) by training and I have conducted academic research on the role of diet and genetics in cardiometabolic health, and also have over 2 decades of experience in conducting industry research to identify and substantiate the science behind pharmaceutical agents and food ingredients that can reduce cardiovascular disease risk.
