Expert Bio

Dave Dickerson is a Global Project Lead for Trait Projects. He received a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Purdue University in Indiana, USA. His Ph.D. research was conducted on ion transport, particularly the involvement of the plasma membrane bound ATPase enzyme. Dave's 13 year career at Syngenta has included identifying commercial insect control traits for cotton, bringing the corn amylase trait Enogen(r) to commercialization, and leading many cross functional teams developing new trait products in corn.
