Alexander Meyers is a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Ohio University’s Department of Environmental and Plant Biology. His research focuses on the mechanisms plants use to sense and respond gravity. His current study involves growing plants aboard the International Space Station to examine how the different gravity levels of Earth, Moon, and Mars affect plant growth at the cellular level. Alexander has a degree in biochemistry from SUNY Cortland.
