Expert Bio

I joined Monsanto Company as a commercial corn breeder in 2009. Since 2013, I have filled the role of Operations Lead for the 110 Relative Maturity (RM) Zone. I received my B.S. in Crop Science from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Crop Science-Plant Breeding with a Plant Pathology minor from North Carolina State University. In addition to plant breeding, I enjoy gardening, running, stained glass artistry, and refinishing old “stuff.” I am currently Breeder-Operations Lead at Bayer.
