Dan Hansen

Expert Bio

Dan Hansen serves DuPont Pioneer as a communications consultant on the Visitor & Stakeholder Outreach team. Dan joined the company in July of 2012. In this position, Dan develops and executes visitor programs. Serving as ambassadors for the Pioneer brand, the five-person Visitor & Stakeholder Outreach team annually hosts over 7,000 visitors. In addition, Dan leads the message development and content training aspects for the team as well as the coordination and management of the Johnston Demonstration Plots. Prior to joining DuPont Pioneer, Dan served Iowa’s agricultural education programs through the Iowa FFA Foundation. Dan was raised on a fifth generation farm in western Iowa, where he still farms with his father raising corn, soybeans and cattle. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education at Iowa State University. Dan and his wife, Megan, live in Granger, Iowa with their 10-month-old son, Michael.
