Since the first two Arctic® apple varieties, Arctic® Granny and Arctic® Golden, have been approved for only a few months, it will take some time for us to plant significant quantities of trees. And since newly planted trees take several years to reach their full fruit-bearing potential, the market introduction is expected to be very gradual. Our current hope is to have small quantities of Arctic® apples available for in-store consumer testing in the fall of 2016, and to make available increasing amounts of fruit each year going forward.
