Kevin Leiner holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Zoology from Texas A&M University where he studied regulatory and integrative physiology with a focus on comparative endocrinology, and he has held postdoctoral research appointments in the Neuroscience and Behavior Program at the University of Massachusetts and in the Molecular Biomedical Sciences Department of North Carolina State University.

Dr. Leiner also has over ten years of broad industry experience working in pharmaceutical biotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, and contract research organizations leading pharmacology and toxicology, molecular and cell biology, and clinical research programs supporting research and development. He is currently Head CP Human Safety for North America at Syngenta.
