    Well, if you read the section of the Farmer Assurance Provision, you will see that it in no way benefits biotech companies. It is designed in such a way that is something were to ‘come up’ and an investigation or appeal, or whatever occurred, it would not automatically stop a farmer from continuing his day to day business of sowing/reaping/harvesting/storing/drying his seed. It allows the farmer to continue his operation so that his crop is not at risk until things are sorted out. It is all about the farmer. It has nothing to do with biotech companies or shielding them from litigation.
