    Community manager - thanks for your "response." Do you think the public are honestly ignorant enough to accept that answer? UC Davies has a clear history of being funded my Monsanto - that's undeniable. Because these "voluntary academics" are not paid for their comment on GMOAnswers.com does not at all suggest that they have not been paid by Monsanto prior to this. My questions stands (with a little clarification to help you get a straight answer out): Why don't you have academics and professionals who were NEVER paid by Monsanto comment on this website? Meaning, they did not receive compensation for other activities prior to their participation in GMOAnswers.com. I think a lot of people would like to hear your truthful response.

    I appreciate your response very much. However, just because they haven't been compensated for their responses here, does not at all suggest that they haven't received compensation previusly. It is well documented that Monsanto has been funding UC Davies research; I'm not sure how you could argue otherwise. So, again I ask: why don't you get academics and professionals who have NEVER been compensated by the vested interests in this community?

    The independent experts who have agreed to participate in this forum and respond to consumer questions have done so voluntarily and are receiving no compensation for their participation.
