    This would be a difficult question for one of the experts to answer as it asks what an opinion would be, which will vary from person to person.

    However consider the medical profession. The medical profession has a long history of employing techniques that were at the time considered helpful but would later be discovered as harmful. One of the most famous examples would be the use of leeches and bleeding to treat disease, when in reality all it did was deprive the patient of vital bodily fluids they needed to fight the disease. Today leeches are still used in modern medicine, but in a very limited role as a targeted anti-coagulating agent for patients who might react negatively to modern anti-coagulating drugs.
