Growing up on a West Texas cotton farm, graduating from Texas A&M University and teaching vocational agriculture on the Texas High Plains prepared Scott Baucum, Esq., well for his roles at Monsanto and Bayer. Baucum began as a sales rep before going back to receive a law degree from Texas Tech. After practicing law, he returned to Monsanto during the launch of Monsanto's first biotech-improved seed traits. After 11 years in Product Stewardship, Baucum became responsible for the implementation of Monsanto's Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Corruption Policy and other compliance initiatives. He is currently the Director of Business Conduct at Bayer Crop Science.
