Emily Ruppel is a Ph.D. student in rhetoric of science at the University of Pittsburgh; prior to her doctoral work, she studied poetry at Bellarmine University and science writing at MIT. She has served as Web Editor for The BioLogos Foundation and as Associate Director of Communications for the American Scientific Affiliation.
