Question

Why can't someone on the pro GMO side make a movie with a catchy trailer like this one? http://www.gmofilm.com/trailer.aspx
Go around and show people surviving on cheap food and tell them that it's because of genetic engineering and make it emotional. Plan B if nobody is convinced by fact based evidence?

It is always beneficial to have balance in the media to better inform consumers. And since you referenced the film, we thought you might be interested in the following reviews of the film:

"Seifert’s intellectually lazy and, at times, emotionally manipulative film only detracts from the public understanding of GMOs."

"Seifert concludes that the 'science is still out' on genetically modified organisms. This is completely misleading," SciAm says, pointing to the massive scientific consensus in favor of the safety of GMOs. HollywoodReporter: http://m.hollywoodreporter.com/review/gmo-omg-film-review-620872

“Jeremy Seifert's GMO OMG offers an introduction to genetically modified food that is only slightly more thoughtful than the movie's title. Though its superficiality and facile humor may appeal to some doc audiences in a specialized theatrical run, those who take the subject seriously should hope its commercial exposure is brief, not poisoning the well for a film that can do things right.”

The New Yorker: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/elements/2013/09/whats-wrong-with-jeremy-seiferts-omg-gmo.html

“As a matter of fact, next Tuesday every person who has ever consumed a genetically modified product might drop dead. I can’t say it won’t happen, because you can’t prove what doesn’t exist. You can only look at the data, something that Seifert refuses to do.”
